Your LoTW Account, LoTW Award Accounts, and Callsign Certificates

  1. An LoTW Account is associated with one or more Callsign Certificates, and can contain
    • one or more LoTW DXCC Award Accounts; LoTW DXCC Award Accounts with the same DXCC entity can optionally be merged
    • one or more LoTW WAZ Award Accounts; LoTW WAZ Award Accounts with the same DXCC entity can optionally be merged
    • one or more LoTW WPX Award Accounts; LoTW WPX Award Accounts with the same DXCC entity can optionally be merged
    • one or more LoTW VUCC Award Accounts, each specifying a set of rules that select participating QSOs
  2. An unsigned (initial) request for a new Callsign Certificate creates a new LoTW User Account associated with this Callsign Certificate.
    • a new LoTW DXCC Award Account will automatically be created by the first DXCC-qualifying confirmation of a QSO signed with the new Callsign Certificate
    • you can create one or more LoTW WAS Award Accounts, each specifying a set of rules that select participating QSOs
    • a new LoTW WAZ Award Account will automatically be created by the first WAZ-qualifying confirmation of a QSO signed with the new Callsign Certificate
    • a new LoTW WPX Award Account will automatically be created by the first WPX-qualifying confirmation of a QSO signed with the new Callsign Certificate
    • you can create one or more LoTW VUCC Award Accounts, each specifying a set of rules that select participating QSOs
  3. A signed (additional) request for a new Callsign Certificate associates the new Callsign Certificate with the existing LoTW User Account associated with the existing Callsign Certificate used to sign the request.
    • a new LoTW DXCC Award Account will automatically be created by the first DXCC-qualifying confirmation of a QSO signed with the new Callsign Certificate
    • you can create one or more LoTW WAS Award Accounts, each specifying a set of rules that select participating QSOs
    • a new LoTW WAZ Award Account will automatically be created by the first WAZ-qualifying confirmation of a QSO signed with the new Callsign Certificate
    • a new LoTW WPX Award Account will automatically be created by the first WPX-qualifying confirmation of a QSO signed with the new Callsign Certificate
    • you can create one or more LoTW VUCC Award Accounts, each specifying a set of rules that select participating QSOs
